Requirements

Essential Functions

• Inspections, analytical testing, and other scientific analysis to monitor and address chemistry-related issues associated to the assembly of printed circuit boards and related products.
• Root cause analysis of a wide variety of failures related to issues arising in the assembly of printed circuit boards and related products.
• Gathering information using analytical equipment (ICS 6000 for Anions & Cations testing) and conveying technical conclusions. Oversee management of chromatography instrumentation, other analytical and test equipment, and related projects.

Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field. No degree with relevant experience will be considered.
• A strong theoretical knowledge of analytical characterization techniques as well as practical, hands-on experience is required.
• Experience with sampling techniques and statistical data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superior problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Ion Chromatography is preferred. Past work experience in PCB Assembly is a plus but not a requirement

Work Environment/Physical & Mental Requirements

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires the regular use of chemistry analytical and test equipment used in monitoring and addressing chemistry-related issues associated to the assembly of printed circuit boards and their related products.
