Position Summary
The Behavior-Focused Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides high-quality care, supervision, and behavioral support to residents within an all-male behavior group home. This role serves individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral support needs, dementia, or those requiring total care.
This position requires proficiency in Professional Crisis Management (PCM), including preventive, de-escalation, and physical intervention strategies. Staff must perform approved PCM restraint procedures when necessary to ensure safety during minimum to moderate behavioral episodes involving aggression or self-injurious actions.
Professionalism, integrity, and adherence to all safety and compliance standards are essential.
