HOMES Brewery is a microbrewery in Ann Arbor, MI, specializing in IPAs and fruited sours paired with Asian-inspired street food. Over the past five years in business, we’ve gained a loyal following and grown into one of the most innovative and highest-rated breweries in Michigan and the United States.

We’re looking for passionate, hard working folks to join our team and grow with us. The Brewpub Shift Lead role is perfect for someone interested in tackling exciting new challenges in the world of craft beer. Our ideal candidate is a natural leader, loves guest service, and is looking to grow!

Who You Are:

• Passionate about food, with an insatiable desire to learn
• Team player, optimistic, empathetic, can work through conflict constructively
• People connector; you love developing and maintaining relationships
• You excel in fast-paced environments and have an ability to take direction and roll with the punches
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and occasionally lift heavy objects
• At least 21 years of age

What You’ll Do:

• Helping coach a team of 30+ between our 2 locations

• Build relationships with our guests, creating new fans

• Participate in daily food/beer tasting to ensure we are serving a quality product

• Provide input to our Chef team on new food concepts

• Work alongside our FOH team regularly, in guest service and events

• Complete nightly accounting tasks, weekly administrative duties, and own the management of an assigned passion project

• Collaborate with our other brands (DOZER & Smooj)

• Problem-solve with our GM and management team to continually improve our processes

• Act as a brand ambassador for HOMES in and outside of work, representing HOMES at beer events and festivals

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge and passion for the beer and beverage industry, brewery experience a plus (not required)

• Exceptional customer service skills and abilities; can handle challenging situations with confidence and grace

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Working knowledge of computers, including Google Suite
