Express is hiring for Multiple Shift Openings for a Composites Operator (also titled Machine Operator) to manufacture thermoset composite materials in Waukesha, WI . Both roles require an initial training period on 1st shift.
Both positions offer the same competitive base pay and terms, with the 2nd Shift role including an additional 15% Shift Bonus .

Training Schedule for BOTH Positions: 1st shift , Monday - Friday (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM ) for approximately 6-8 weeks .

You will be responsible for implementing the Production Fulfillment Process steps related to the manufacture of thermoset composite materials . This role involves operating and maintaining specialized machinery to meet strict quality and efficiency standards.
Manufacturing & Materials:
Operate manufacturing equipment including presses, forming, extrusion, pultrusion and/or shape machines .
Manufacture molded glass polyester sheets by laying up material to the desired thickness and spreading resin according to customer work orders.
Form molded sheets and shapes of materials using various manufacturing equipment.
Setup & Tooling:
Ensure machinery is set up and working properly.
Select and install machine components, such as dies, spacers, shims and/or stops , using hand tools and measuring devices.
Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters, including stop block shimming and shear bar changes .
Operation & Quality Control:
Activate machines to shape or form sheets and/or shape insulation products.
Remove materials or products from molds or machines and stack/store them for additional processing.
Trim/file and de-flash molded sheet edges and perform in process measuring and material inspections .
Maintenance & Logistics:
Clean dies and molds using scrapers, brushes, scotch pads or air hoses.
Move materials, supplies, components, and finished products between work areas, using aids such as carts, forklifts and hand trucks .
