Construction Superintendent Job Information: Location: Will report to office in Pennsauken, NJ but position does require traveling throughout Central and Southern New Jersey. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 hour days
Starting Salary: $75,000 annually

Construction Superintendent Job Duties: - Develop a clear understanding of performance standards, scopes of work, and construction requirements for all subcontracted trades involved in property renovations and maintenance projects.
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution across multiple properties.
- Enforce company construction practices, quality benchmarks, and operational procedures to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Inspect subcontractor work to ensure compliance with building codes, project specifications, and property management standards.
- Generate and manage punch lists to track and ensure resolution of deficiencies in subcontractor work.
- Create and maintain project schedules that align with occupancy goals, tenant move-in timelines, and property readiness deadlines.
- Schedule and attend inspections with local building departments to ensure code compliance and pass inspections on the first attempt.
- Receive and verify deliveries of owner-supplied materials to ensure completeness and accuracy before installation.
- Assist the Project Manager with daily reporting, providing updates on progress, issues, and site conditions.
- Enforce safety procedures in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, tenants, and internal staff to support smooth operations and project success.
Construction Superintendent Job Requirements: - A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ground-up, multi-family wood frame construction projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to efficiently manage tasks and communicate.
- Professionalism: Demonstrates a tactful approach when interacting with others, handles pressure effectively, and shows respect and consideration for all individuals, regardless of role or position. Takes ownership of actions and outcomes.
