Job Opportunity: Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
The CSR will provide a variety of duties in support of assigned area and/or department. Provide customer service to patients by researching billing issues with various departments and resolving the issues. Reconcile remittance advice and patient accounts and resolve discrepancies. Will provide information and assistance to internal and external customers; provide and ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.



Job Duties:

• Establish and maintain good rapport and effective working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians and Hospital and Medical Group Employees
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints and customer service issues by phone, in person or via email; research and resolve the issue.
• Research unpaid claims; contact patients to obtain necessary information to assist with claims process; secure payments or negotiate payment plans.
• Process patient credit card payments and perform health insurance verifications and updates and more.........

Experience Required:

• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• An understanding of medical terminology, coding, standard hospital operations and financial services preferred but not required
• Must have high level of professionalism
• Ability to keyboard 30 wpm; is proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent and pass a background check
