The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Hair Stylist to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.

The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing personalized high quality hair services while consulting with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable styles and products, and maintain cleanliness and safety at the workstation while collaborating with team members to deliver an exceptional guests experience in line with salon standards.

• Greet, welcome, escort, and communicate with guests warmly, clearly, and professionally.
• Provide hair services (haircuts, blow drying, styling, treatments, up-dos, color, highlights, relaxers) and maintain high service standards.
• Work in a fast-paced indoor environment with noise, odors, and warm temperatures; meet time constraints and deadlines.
• Maintain sanitation and safety for guests and staff, including disinfecting, sweeping, and cleaning; handle prolonged standing and bending.
• Attend required training, manage opening/closing procedures, stock and set up workstations, and maintain daily logs.
• Promote and perform spa/salon treatments and services maintaining luxury standards.
• Follow Post Oak Hotel standards for phone use, damaged equipment reporting, incident reporting, and guest confidentiality.
• Communicate guest needs, report challenges to management, and respond properly to emergencies or safety situations.

• Minimum 2 years of professional Stylist/Colorist experience.
• Cosmetologist’s license, as issued by the State Board of Cosmetology.
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Physical demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and standing for prolonged extended periods of standing.
