Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Baymeadows is looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Night Auditor/Guest Services Representative to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Night Auditor/Guest Services Representative represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay. This position is responsible for performing the activities of the front desk including reservations, guest services, and telephone calls professionally, efficiently, and courteously.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties:

• Responds promptly and follows through on guest complaints in effective and friendly manner.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to up sell hotel rooms according to hotel standard procedures.
• Acts as Night Manager On Duty during the graveyard shift.
• Balances, investigates, analyzes and corrects any out-of-balance accounts' involving all vouchers, credit cards, city ledger and cash accounts.
• Verifies all in-house and closed accounts for accuracy. Validates all rates and posts room and tax charges accurately.
• Must have open availability to include working 2 overnight shifts, and additional AM and PM shifts.
• Open availability to include weekends and Holidays
• Additional duties as requested by the Front Desk Manager
