Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse - Day Shift   Location: Healthcare facilities across New Jersey  Duration: 13 Weeks  Hours: 40 hours per week (4 x 10-hour shifts)  Schedule: Every 7th-8th weekend, rotating on-call Monday-Thursday, holidays as needed  Job Summary:   The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a specialized radiology setting. The RN will provide individualized patient care, support procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.  Key Responsibilities:   ~ Provide patient-centered nursing care in accordance with the latest evidence-based practices, policies, and standards.  ~ Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and the healthcare team regarding patient status, care plans, and treatment.  ~ Administer medications using bar-scanning technology for enhanced patient safety.  ~ Perform ongoing electronic documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and evaluations.  ~ Educate patients and their families on health, wellness, and disease management.  ~ Support safe discharge planning and ensure seamless transition of care.  Required Skills & Experience:   ~ Minimum of six (6) months of relevant nursing experience.  Preferred Skills & Experience:   ~ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.  ~ Strong sense of accountability and commitment to patient care.  ~ Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.  ~ Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.  Education Requirements:   ~ Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)  ~ Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)  Required Certifications & Licensure:   ~ Licensure: New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.  ~ Certifications: ~ Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA  ~ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA  ~ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA  Languages:   ~ English (Speak, Read, Write)  Additional Information:   This role requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule and occasional holiday shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic interventional radiology environment, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
