Schedule:
+ Flexible - Primarily evening (~12p - ~10p)
+ Every 12th weekend
+ Day/Evening availability with every 12-weekend expectation
Responsibilities:
+ Review and maintain patient medication records, screening for allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications during order entry and medication verification.
+ Accurately identify and report suspected adverse drug reactions in a timely manner.
+ Interpret and evaluate physician orders to prepare, calculate, and dispense appropriate medication dosages for both inpatient and outpatient care, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
+ Prepare and dispense intravenous admixture solutions using aseptic techniques in a sterile product preparation area.
+ Lead daily pharmacy operations and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians, aides, student interns, and other support staff.
+ Fill prescriptions in accordance with regulatory standards, utilizing advanced technology and equipment.
+ Serve as a resource for drug information and deliver educational programs to healthcare professionals and pharmacy students.
+ Oversee centralized and decentralized pharmacy services, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality care.
+ Delegate tasks strategically based on staffing, workflow, and patient needs to optimize pharmacy service delivery.
+ B.S. degree or a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required.
+ Minimum 5 years post licensure Pharmacist experience required.
+ Prior leadership experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
