Due to rapid expansion in all of our clinics, we are offering a $2400.00 sign on bonus for our nurses. We are eager to be able to continue to serve clients in our service areas and need you to make this happen! This is a full-time, 32 hours weekly position.

Compass Health is looking for a nurse to work in our behavioral health clinic who will be responsible for the operation of the Medication Clinic and providing nursing coverage to accommodate the regions practitioner schedules. They will also function as a case manager for consumers needing medication refills. In order to be successful in this role, you must be adept to a fast-paced medical clinic and have basic knowledge of computers and computer programs.

Other responsibilities of the nurse:

Prepares for minimal to frequent schedule changes and travels to neighboring clinics for nursing coverage and training
Review medication education sheets with client
Complete necessary documentation regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for consumer records
Administer IM medication, dispense sample medications, maintain accurate logs on all medications received and dispensed
Work to help complete prior authorizations
Maintain list of injections, coordinate ordering and delivery, verify orders are current, and discuss any side effects
Take vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screening process

Associates/Bachelors in nursing preferred

GPN, LPN, GN or RN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
