Position Overview

• Role: Orientation and Mobility Specialist
• Location: Glendale / Phoenix area
• Dates: 2025-2026 school year

Key Responsibilities

• Develops plans and instructs students with visual impairments in the development of skills and knowledge
• Implement IEPs, individualized interventions, and classroom accommodations
• Build a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with school-based Special Education teams, behavior specialists, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and team planning sessions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Arizona teaching license
• MUST HAVE Orientation and Mobility Specialist certification
• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card

Compensation & Benefits

• Rates: $55-65 / hour
• W-2 employment
