Job Title: Payroll Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced payroll knowledge, strong Excel experience, and a background in payroll-specific processes. This role involves managing payroll for a large company with 1400 employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsibilities + Manage payroll processing for 1400 employees + Oversee payroll submissions from 12 business units + Ensure timely and accurate payroll on a bi-monthly basis (15th and last day of the month) + Utilize Paylocity for payroll processing, transitioning to Workday in the coming months + Maintain compliance with multistate payroll laws + Support payroll department during periods of understaffing and potential long-term opportunities Essential Skills + Advanced knowledge of payroll processes + Experience with Paylocity and Workday + Proficiency in Excel + Understanding of multistate payroll laws + Experience managing payroll for a large organization Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with prevailing wage calculations + Ability to manage a team or supervise payroll processes + Capability to transition between payroll systems + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Work Environment This position involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role primarily uses Paylocity, with a transition to Workday planned within the next few months. The payroll department handles payroll processing on a bi-monthly basis and must comply with multistate payroll regulations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
