Piping Designer – Life Sciences & Industrial Facilities

Full-Time | $70,000 – $120,000 (DOE) + Benefits + Bonus Program
We are a Boulder-based engineering and project management firm with over 20 years of experience delivering expertise-driven solutions to clients across the biopharmaceuticals, advanced technology, and renewable energy sectors. Our diverse team of professionals brings deep technical experience across the full project lifecycle—from design and construction through startup and operations—on both large and small-scale industrial facilities.
We are currently seeking a Piping Designer to join our team in support of industrial building and facilities projects, with a focus on the life sciences, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries . This position is full-time and onsite at a client location in Boulder, CO . You will play a critical role in producing construction documents—including plans and sections—for complex clean piping systems.
Produce piping layout drawings and construction documents for facility and utility systems
Collaborate closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
Support coordination and clash detection efforts using modeling software tools
Required:
AAS degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent work experience
5–15 years of relevant experience in piping design
Experience working in pharmaceutical , biotech , or clean process industries such as food, beverage, or dairy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within diverse teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Bluebeam
Basic understanding of engineering design principles
