Job Summary:

The Pre-Sales Coordinator collaborates with customers, account executives, customer service representatives (CSRs), and the operations team to generate accurate quotes for new business opportunities in both the extrusion and fabrication sectors of the plant.

Required Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Strong mathematical background including Algebra and Geometry
• Seven years of experience in a related field, preferably in an aluminum extrusion environment.
• Advanced blueprint reading skills.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, and AutoCad.
• Must be technically and detail oriented.
• Understanding of Aluminum Association tolerancing.
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Design Preferred.
• Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the accurate preparation of all data required for the evaluation and pricing of extruded products.
• Calculate area, perimeter, weight/foot, factor and circle size and prepare all new customer quotations. 
• Provide product and process information to other departments and operations as necessary.
• Provides design assistance to customers up to and including redesign of customer parts.
• Conducts presale review meetings when necessary.
• Ability to use AutoCad system in preparing prints per Customer Specifications
• Travel: 25% of the time to visit locations.
