SAP Tester/SAP QA

Lisle, IL (Onsite)

Testing Expertise:

This role is part of the SAP Greenfield implementation. The SAP Fiori and OTC Tester will contribute to built-in quality, early defect prevention, and end-to-end business assurance for a greenfield SAP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP OTC Functional Testing (QCoE Aligned)

• Perform end-to-end functional testing of SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes in a greenfield SAP environment, ensuring quality from initial configuration through deployment.

• Validate core OTC processes including:

• Sales Order Management (standard, returns, credit/debit scenarios)

• Pricing, discounts, and condition records

• Delivery, shipping, and logistics execution

• Billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition

• Credit management and AR integration

• Ensure OTC solutions align with International Motors business requirements, TRATON process standards, and approved solution design.

• Test Design, Management & Execution

• Design and maintain QCoE-standard test scenarios and test cases, ensuring consistency with International Motors and TRATON testing standards.

• Document, catalog, and maintain all test cases in qTest, following QCoE naming conventions, tagging, and metadata standards.

• Ensure all functional, integration, E2E, and regression testing is planned, executed, and reported through qTest.

• Execute testing across:

• Functional Testing

• System Integration Testing (SIT)

• End-to-End (E2E) Testing

• Regression Testing

• Maintain requirement-to-test traceability within qTest to support auditability, reporting, and release readiness.

• Manage test execution evidence, cycle management, and defect linkage using qTest integrated with Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent.

• Automation & AI-Assisted Testing (Preferred)

• Identify automation candidates within OTC processes and collaborate with QCoE automation teams.

• Support or execute test automation using Tricentis Tosca, including:

• Automation feasibility assessment

• Review and validation of automated OTC scripts

• Execution of automated regression suites

• Leverage AI-assisted testing capabilities (where available), such as:

• AI-supported test design and scenario generation

• Improved regression coverage through intelligent test selection

• Contribute to QCoE goals of reducing regression cycle time and improving test efficiency through automation and AI.

• Defect Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Identify, log, and manage defects with high-quality documentation, including clear reproduction steps, data, and screenshots.

• Participate in daily defect triage calls with SAP functional consultants, developers, and US stakeholders during CST hours.

• Perform retesting and validation of fixes, ensuring defects are closed with minimal rework.

• Provide timely status, risks, and quality insights to QCoE Test Leads.

• Greenfield Implementation & Release Support

• Support testing of newly configured SAP OTC processes, custom developments, and integrations as part of the greenfield rollout.

• Validate integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., CRM, Finance, Logistics, Tax, EDI).

• Participate in release readiness, cutover testing, and post-deployment validation.
