Job Description

Start your new career as a Second Shift Material Handler/Forklift Operator with MAU at our client in Conyers, GA. As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2 years of stable work history in a warehouse or material handling role
• Forklift or clamp truck operating experience
• LOTO certification or willingness to become certified
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with production quality standards and manufacturing instructions

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler/Forklift Operator:

• Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report issues promptly
• Move raw materials and finished goods between plant, warehouse, and trailers
• Load machines with materials and stack products on pallets
• Verify product labels, tags, and markings for accuracy
• Assist in inventory counts, including some weekends
• Operate corrugate baler and manage recyclable materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Support production lines during breaks as needed
• Adapt to new systems, including potential transition to Oracle with forklift-mounted scanners
