As a **Security Professional - Access Patrol** in **Sunnyvale, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols support a visible deterrent, while your strong customer service and communication skills foster positive interactions. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your duties. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we prioritize teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in all interactions. **Position Type: Part Time** **Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues. + Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas. + Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to established protocols. **Minimum Requirements:** + Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of employment. + Must have at least 1 year of security experience. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Must possess a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + California Security Guard Card required. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
