Nesco Resource is looking for a Setup Technician located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (Can be modified based on location/commute)

Pay: $25/Hour or depending on experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Set-Up Technician responsible for preparing and setting up production machinery to support efficient and accurate manufacturing operations. This role involves working with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure machines are properly configured for each job assignment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical set-up of machines using appropriate hand tools (e.g., wrenches, socket sets, Allen wrenches) based on job specifications.
• Install tooling into die sets and then mount the complete die set into the appropriate press.
• Utilize precision measurement tools, including micrometers, dial indicators, and TMM equipment, to verify accurate set-ups.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings (preferred).
• Conduct set-ups on various presses/machines, such as:
  • Dorst
  • Cincinnati
  • Yoshi
  • Gasbarre
  • Alpha

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience setting up mechanical presses or similar equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and accuracy.
