Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative SME - Creative Consultant to join our team in San Francisco. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping the visual communication of our executive-level strategic initiatives and organizational narratives. You will leverage your expertise in graphic design, presentation artistry, and user experience principles to transform complex strategic concepts into compelling, clear, and visually impactful presentations and design artifacts. This is a hybrid role, requiring the ability to work from our San Francisco office three days a week to foster collaboration and integration with our executive and strategy teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to understand, distill, and visualize complex strategies.
  • Design and craft compelling, clear, and visually stunning presentations and decks for internal and external audiences, including executive meetings, all-hands, and keynotes.
  • Apply advanced information design principles to simplify complex data and narratives, creating clear, persuasive, and memorable visual stories.
  • Work hand-in-hand with leaders from Product, Engineering, Data and Analytics, and Marketing to ensure a cohesive and unified vision from strategy through to execution.
  • Collaborate closely with strategists, business leaders, and subject matter experts to understand complex ideas and translate them into intuitive, visually engaging slides, infographics, and diagrams.
  • Ensure all visual materials adhere strictly to brand guidelines, maintaining consistency, professionalism, and a strong brand identity across all assets.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing extensive work in presentation design for corporate or executive environments.
  • Proven expertise in advanced PowerPoint (or Google Slides/Keynote) functionalities, including master slides, animations, transitions, and embedding multimedia.
  • Exceptional graphic design skills, including typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and visualize complex business strategies, market insights, and data-driven narratives.
  • Strong experience in working with and upholding established brand guidelines for large organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and receive constructive feedback.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free work under tight deadlines.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to commute to the SF office for in-person collaboration.

Pay Range: $100 - $105

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.
