Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SMT Soldering Technician. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly and manufacturing of electronic components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and the use of various tools and equipment.

Duties

• Assemble and manufacture electronic components according to schematics and technical drawings.
  
• Perform soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while adhering to IPC 610 standards.
  
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for testing and troubleshooting assemblies.
  
• Conduct electrical wiring tasks, ensuring all connections are secure and compliant with safety standards.
  
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
  
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specified requirements.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.
  
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
  

Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly roles, particularly in electronics or related fields.
  
• Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) processes.
  
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and the ability to interpret technical documents.
  
• Mechanical knowledge with experience using calipers, ohmmeters, and other measuring instruments.
  
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
  
• Previous experience in soldering and working with PCBs is highly desirable.
