Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated FDOT Survey Project Manager to join our dynamic Survey Team in Tampa, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about surveying and working on transportation projects. As a Survey Project Manager, you'll play a key role in managing and overseeing surveying activities for a variety of municipal and transportation projects.

What You'll Do:

Independently assess, select, and apply standard surveying techniques and procedures, using your expertise to make necessary adjustments for FDOT and other transportation projects.
Plan, schedule, and oversee detailed phases of surveying work, whether as part of a larger project or a standalone task of moderate scope.
Conduct boundary analysis for large-scale land surveys, including corridor, route, and sectionalized surveys.
Lead client communications throughout the lifecycle of projects, ensuring alignment from the start to completion.
Supervise and coordinate the work of surveyors, technicians, and support staff involved in specific survey tasks.
Review, seal, and manage professional surveying documentation.
Perform additional duties as needed to support project success.

What You'll Bring:

Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months.
A minimum of five years of office experience working on DOT projects.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping is preferred.
