What You'll Actually Be Doing The Warehouse Supervisor leads a small team (three to five people) in loading up trucks, moving inventory, and keeping our day-to-day warehousing procedures smooth and efficient. As you oversee various responsibilities, you ensure your team completes accurate work. Here's a brief overview of your role:
- Guide your warehouse team in completing accurate, timely work while following safety procedures and industry regulations
- Print and separate tickets
- Oversee order picking and inventory packing and ensure trucks are loaded on time
- Oversee accurate furniture assembly
- Communicate and collaborate with the warehouse manager to address concerns and resolve issues
- Train staff and help them improve
- Communicate with 3rd-shift employees, the distribution manager, and HR staff
- Handle other inventory and warehousing responsibilities as needed
Has WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO... - A current and valid driver's license
- Outstanding English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of Pegasus and AX software
- Strong mathematical skills
Can - Pay attention to detail and complete accurate, thorough work
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Regularly lift and move 75+ lbs.
